How it works
Once you request a workshop, you’ll gain access to our teacher portal and confidential online HQ, where you can access our lessons and launch the program.
The base module includes two 20-minute lessons, with additional mini-lessons available to use throughout the year. Our online platform guides students through their training as savvy investigators.
Modular Curriculum
Our workshop is made up of one 40 minute lesson that turns students into certified Food Detectives. Designed to be customizable, the curriculum can be taught all at once or in two twenty-minute segments.
Story-Based Learning
With guidance from Special Agents Chip & Dip, students learn how to decode marketing messages. Once they’ve conquered the front of the box, they learn how to find the real facts on the back.
Year-Long Fun!
A Food Detective’s work is never done! Access our top secret library full of mini lessons, brain breaks, and movement-based activities that dive deeper into food marketing, label literacy, nutrition and food science!
