Subject: A Free, Ready-to-Go Nutrition Program for 4th Grade Classrooms

Hi [Name],

I wanted to share a free, ready-to-use nutrition education program that might be a great fit for your classroom. Food Detectives is a fun, flexible, and standards-aligned workshop that’s already helped over 250,000 students build the skills to decode food labels, see through marketing tricks, and make more informed choices about what they eat.

Signing up is simple. Just request a workshop, and you’ll get access to everything you need. The core curriculum takes about three hours and can be taught over the course of a week, either independently or with teacher facilitation.

You can learn more at FoodDetectives.org, or reach out with questions at info@fooddetectives.org.

Hope it’s helpful—and worth sharing with other educators too!

Best,

[Your Name]

What kind of schools can I refer? Any school that teaches 4th grade! Public, private, charter, independent—even homeschool programs are welcome to join the mission.

Do I have to refer a fourth grade teacher? Not at all. We’re happy to connect with administrators, district staff, PTO members, or anyone who can help bring the program to a classroom. We also love referrals to health and PE teachers!

What if something goes wrong with my referral? If your friend forgot to list you or something didn’t go through properly, don’t worry—we’ve got you. Just send us a quick email at info@fooddetectives.org, and we’ll make it right.
